Full-Time Groundskeeper
Position Summary:
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, walkways, and public areas. This role involves routine landscaping tasks, equipment operation, and seasonal maintenance to ensure all grounds are well-kept, safe, and inviting to the public. The position will function in the midst of a garden that is open to the public. Event Staff (Part-Time / On-Call)
Position Summary:
The Mobile Botanical Gardens is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to join our team. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and overall success of our events including private rentals, MBG-hosted events and education programs, and more. Event staff responsibilities include setting up/breaking down chairs and tables, ensuring proper equipment is in place, inspection of equipment/furniture post event, among other duties. In additional to job roles, event staff will need the physical stamina to be on their feet for the duration of an event along with lifting a minimum of 40 lbs. Ideal candidates would also be able to cross-train and work as a Gift Shop Associate as needed.
