Discount Programs
Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 600 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their EBT card. Recipients may receive up to 4 general admission tickets at the reduced rate* of $3 per adult. Click here to find other participating institutions.

American Horticultural Society Reciprocal Admissions Program
Mobile Botanical Gardens participates in the American Horticultural Society Reciprocal Admissions Program. (Please note that there is an exclusion in reciprocity with other botanic gardens within 90 miles of MBG. We encourage you to contact participating organizations to determine eligibility.) To receive reciprocal admission, please call the office upon arrival and have your membership card ready to present.
Military Discount
MBG offers active military personnel and veterans $6 admission with valid ID.
Do's and Don'ts
Help us to preserve the beauty of the Gardens for everyone by refraining from picking flowers, removing seeds and fruit, walking through beds, and climbing the trees or on boulders.
- Picnics - Grassy areas and picnic tables are available in the design gardens as well as the Longleaf Forest.
- Pets - As long as they are on a leash. Also, please clean up after your pet. There are several pet stations throughout the Gardens and the Longleaf Forest.
- Photoshoots - all photoshoots must be scheduled. Click here for more info.
- Handicap Parking - We have a few spots close to the office. Please call the office upon arrival for entry. (251)342-0555. Portions of the Gardens are more accessible than others.
- Artists - We welcome your creativity! Please be mindful of your surroundings to not block walkways or enter planting beds. Be sure to clean up and dispose of water based materials appropriately in the sink. Do not pour out on plants or hardscape.
- Attire - We are a family friendly Garden so please dress accordingly. In respect to all Garden visitors, patrons wearing articles of clothing that may be taken as offensive will not be allowed to enter.
- Smoking or vaping
- Alcohol and weapons
- Bikes - You may not ride your bike in the Gardens, but you are welcome to leave it at the office or with the gate attendant during your visit.
- Weddings/rentals - at this time we are not booking any rentals.
- Wheelchair and Golf Cart Rentals - We do not offer this service.
