Azaleas– We will have a huge selection of all types of azaleas at Plantasia, the MBG 2025 Spring Plant Sale!
Deciduous and Native Azaleas
Deciduous Azaleas are known by several names – rhododendron’s naked and fancy cousin, honeysuckle azaleas, native azaleas, and America’s azaleas. This is a group of plants known for their showy and often fragrant flowers. Perfect for a casual woodland setting, they have an attractive upright form and prefer lightly dappled shade and bright light. They are acid loving plants with shallow roots that like moist organic soil and good drainage.
Colors range from white, to yellow, orange, pink and red – and multiple combinations. A spectacular show in your early spring garden. Examples of the varieties you will find available at MBG Plant Sales include:
Yellow – Canary Isle, Dancing Rabbit, Admiral Semmes, Gold Strike
