Presentation 10am until Noon
Larkins Classroom at Mobile Botanical Gardens
This workshop is sponsored by the Gulf Coast Herb Society and is designed for anyone who is interested in gardening and in the process, making a difference for ecosystems. It will also cover using native plants and information on invasive plants.
This year’s speaker is Gena Todia. She is a botanist, wildlife biologist, and an avid native plant gardener. Gena and her husband Jay live and garden on over 10 acres in Fairhope. Gena knows our area and the weather conditions we live in. She is also the owner of Wetland Resources and Environmental Consulting.
The public is invited to visit the Herb Garden and ask questions before and after the presentation. Also, cookies and refreshments will be available.
