DESCRIPTION:Fridays\, beginning October 20th\n10am – 1pm\nInstructor: Derek Norman \nMembers $125\nNon-members $150 (additional fee collected at first class session)\nRegister \nA 6-week class focusing on drawing and painting the trees of MBG. Intermediate – Advanced students. \nClass Dates:\n#1 – October 20th\n#2 – November 3rd\n#3 – November 10th\n#4 – November 17th\n#5 – December 8th\n#6 – December 15th \nIt is that time of the year when\, sadly\, trees take an enormous hit from on-coming storms\, hurricanes and such that it seems an appropriate time to lavish appreciation for their beauty\, their strength and vigor. So this is a class of thanks\, appreciation and praise. We will be following the Mobile Botanical Garden’s new “Impressionistic/Expressionistic” track of working in the mediums of oil paint and gouache.
