DESCRIPTION:What: A Make n’ Take Workshop with fabric artist\, Jan Johnson\nWhen: Saturday\, December 10th\, 10am – 1pm\nWhere: The Larkins Classroom at Mobile Botanical Gardens\nCost: $45 for MBG Members\, $55 for nonmembers\nLearn Eco Printing! Participants will select leaves and place them on a prepared silk scarf with an “iron blanket” and steam the scarves. Students will learn about the interaction among fiber\, mordant\, iron and plant material. They will appreciate nature in a new\, artistic way! This class is a great Parent-Child opportunity! With a parent\, any age child can ecoprint\, but school age kids will enjoy this the most. Unaccompanied children should be ages 10 and above.\nRegister and Pay
