Directions from I-10 and I-65

  • On I-10, take I-65 North.
  • Take the Springhill Avenue exit (5A). Turn left.
  • Follow Springhill Avenue west for approximately 1.6 miles.
  • Turn left at traffic light onto Pfc. John New St.
  • This dead-ends almost immediately onto Museum Drive. Turn right.
  • Pass the Mobile Museum of Art on the right, then look for the Gardens entrance on the left.
  • Turn left to enter the Gardens.

Directions from Mobile Regional Airport

  • Turn left onto Airport Blvd. Go approximately 4.7 miles.
  • Turn left onto University Blvd.
  • Pass the University of South Alabama on your left, then turn right onto Gaillard Drive.
  • Stay on Gaillard until it forks, then veer to the right onto Museum Drive.
  • Cross over the bridge, and the Gardens entrance will be on your right.
  • Turn right to enter the Gardens.

    Mobile Botanical Gardens provides experiences that help visitors of all ages appreciate and benefit from our unique Gulf Coast environment.

    The Gardens serve as a living classroom for residents and visitors alike. By providing a sense of place, we endeavor to instill passion for nature, and promote interest in gardening, conservation, and outdoor activities.

  • When You Visit

    Please leave nothing but your footprints.

    Please respect the natural habitat of many plants and wildlife. Please do not take flowers, leaves or seeds.

    Pets are welcome on leashes. Doggy stations are located around the Gardens: please use them.

    Professional photography sessions must be scheduled in advance. Call the office at 251-342-055 to schedule.

    Bikes are only allowed on roads and on the bike trail in the Longleaf Forest. Please do not ride on other paths or sidewalks.

    Mobile Botanical Gardens participates in the American Horticultural Society's Reciprocal Admissions Program. Your membership card gives you special admission privileges and many other benefits at over 200 public gardens and arboreta in 44 states. Visit www.ahs.org for a list of participating gardens.
