AMSTI Enhancement Experiences
As a follow up to plant units in the Alabama AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative) elementary curriculum, experiences can be arranged to supplement first grade “New Plants” and third grade “Plant Growth and Development”. These usually include all students in the grade level and may require scheduling over two or more successive days, depending upon the number of students. No more than 60 students can be accommodated on a single day. Please contact the Mobile Botanical Gardens to make arrangements specific to your school needs.
Home School Groups
Any of the above offerings can be formatted to serve home school groups. Content and approaches vary with age and background of the participants, so groups will need to be of similar ages for the best learning experience.
